Energy Managers Association (EMA)
The Energy Managers Association (EMA) was set up by Lord Redesdale (CEO) in 2012 and represents Energy Managers across all industries.
Their priority is to improve the position of energy management experts, their profession and act as their united voice. They have a demand rather than a supply side focus, with energy efficiency being the key driver. To achieve these objectives, the EMA runs a number of initiatives: the Low Energy Company (LEC) scheme, Schools’ Energy Awareness training and Utilities & Compliance Assurance Body (UCAB). The EMA also trains candidates to become approved and registered ESOS Lead Assessors.
At the Eco Technology Show the EMA will be launching the Low Energy Company (LEC) Stage 3 Training Programme – a training programme intended for candidates who are interested to become energy managers, those re-skilling from other professions, and those newly appointed energy managers.
